Beautiful place lovely traditional Italian food. Truly a refuge after the mountain experience. Also a nice place to retreat from the city and clear your thoughts.
Food and location were absolutely good! However, staff is very rude: first, when I called the place to book a table for 6, nobody told me that we would be separated in two different tables; once there, a waitress yelled at us several times as if we were children! We can understand Covid restrictions, but kind manners are the minimum requirement for those working in a restaurant - we were very surprised!
Anyway, apart from this bad experience with the waitress, I recommend this place!

Definitely book if you want a warm indoor seat, otherwise you will struggle to find a seat and will have to settle for the outside. Which has a crazy view but in winter it's not very nice to eat in the cold.
The new management of the Magnolini refuge is truly excellent. The staff is very kind and helpful, always with a smile. The food is excellent, with a decent variety. Many traditional polenta-based dishes and soups have unfortunately disappeared, but have been replaced by meat dishes.
The tarts are excellent, the portions generous and the prices reasonable. In 5 notices I spent 75 euros eating my fill.
The place is always suggestive, even if the lack of snow is becoming chronic.
It is advisable to book because it is very popular, I went on 7 January 2023, I had a great time. Good and abundant dishes (see photo of polenta and zola🤩) at competitive prices. I'll be back!
Unforgettable experience, given as a birthday gift, romantic both for the view and for the fact that there is only a stars box so it's like being alone in a tent but much more stable and comfortable.
The refuge is the most beautiful among all the others thanks to its view and the sunset. We were lucky that the sky was clear and therefore full of stars.
The abundant aperitif with typical local products, really recommended and if you want to organize do it well in advance!
